Day 3
Dear Year 6,
I hope you all had a good weekend and managed to get outside for a bit of fresh air. I did a bit of gardening at home…it felt good to be in the sunshine.
So pleased to see so many of you accessing the assignments on Busy Things. Remember that each assignment will only be accessible for 1 day. I have uploaded 4 Busy Things assignments for you to do today:
English – Prefix or suffix?
Maths – Fractions to decimals.
Science – Circulatory system.
History – Tudor family tree.
I know many of you have read ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ by Anne Frank, so thought you might like to visit the museum of Anne Frank’s house online – follow this link to see inside…
https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/web-and-digital/
I am in the process of adding extra information on the class pages of the school website. One of the links I shared is a P.E. lesson with Joe Wicks. He will do a daily workout at 9am every weekday – follow this link to take part (you will need to press subscribe before you do the workout)…

Hope you all have a great Monday and I will catch up with you again tomorrow.

Day 2
Dear Year 6,
So pleased to see so many of you accessing Busy Things. I have just assigned 3 new activities on there for you all to have a go at:
Grammar – Types of determiners.
Maths – Numerical order: fractions, decimals and percentages.
Science/Geography – World climate zones 1.
It is also so nice to hear from you via this blog. I hope you are finding it useful.
I know many of you have been asking me to post a picture of my Dad’s cat Oreo. I am looking into a way that I can do this, as I cannot copy and paste straight into this page.
I am looking into virtual tours for you to access online, and have just found one for the British Museum. Follow the link below:
https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/the-british-museum
I am also updating each class page on the school website. There will be extra Spanish activities from Mr Gonzalo, and even a link to ‘The Body Coach TV’, where you will be able to take part in online workouts from Monday!
Take care all of you and please keep in touch.

Day 1
Dear Year 6,
Thank you all for being so brilliant and mature yesterday when you heard the news that school was closing. I know it must feel very strange, but I am here for all of you.
I have uploaded a test assignment on ‘Busy Things’ called ‘South American countries. I thought it would be a good way to practice submitting your work to me. I notice that 5 of you have already done this, so will have a check later to see how you have done.
I have been looking at virtual tours of places of interest for you all. Found one of Buckingham Palace…follow this link to take a peek inside where the Queen lives!

Look after yourselves.
