Wednesday,18th November, Year1
Unfortunately, we are facing some technical problems with Google Classroom, therefore Ms.Boric’s lessons will be posted on the blog. Thank you for your understanding.
Good morning Year One!
I hope you had fun doing your online tasks for yesterday.
Today we have planned for your more interesting lessons.
Mrs. Leow – Clifford has prepared your Literacy and Phonics lesson and I have for you more Maths and a very interesting History lesson.
Here are your answers from yesterday’s Maths:
Here is your lesson for today:
First watch the video! https://vimeo.com/461446296
Your worksheets for today are about the addition symbol, you will find them in your pack.
In History this term we started learning about the Gunpowder Plot. So far we learned about the fireworks and how different religions (Protestants and Catholics) could not live together in peace. Do you remember why? Of course, because of the King James the First who ruled about 400 years ago. Today we are learning about the Guy Fawkes, we will find out who he was and what did he do once upon a time.
Here is the link for you to watch:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPDtWdCywm4
I would like you to try and draw a picture of him, or find one on internet, print it and stick it in your Literacy book. Then I would like you to answer the following questions:
Who was Guy Fawkes?
What did he try to do?
Was he successful with his task?
What happened to him?
I hope you will have fun watching this video and finding out the answers.
Don’t forget to find a book to read on
Your Class log in is: allsouls1 and the password is also: allsouls1
Enjoy your day!
P.S
Do you think you can leave a comment at the bottom of this page?
Give it a go!
You can write: I had fun or this was easy or this was tricky or anything else you want to add! Don’t worry about the spelling!
