Year 6 Homework Friday 27th November 2020

Hello Year 6!

Before you read about your homework, here is a quick reminder to practise your lines and the songs!  We are filming the Christmas show in less than 2 weeks!

We’re back to the Topic Grid this week.  We’re looking forward to seeing your creative work!

Here is the topic grid: Aut 2 Topic Grid 2

Complete one activity from the grid each week.  If it is a writing task, complete it in your Literacy homework book.  If it is a creative task, then bring in what you do separately. Bring in your completed homework on Wednesday 2nd December.

Maths.  Complete the sheet on Equivalent Fractions, writing your answers in your Maths homework book. Bring your Maths book back to school on Wednesday 2nd December.

For question 1, please copy the grids into your book.  It’s really important that you are able to represent fractions visually and this will help you to do that.

The sheet can be found here: Week 4 Equivalent Fractions

Here is a video that will help you if you are finding the Maths difficult: https://vimeo.com/466488832

Spelling.  This week’s words are words are from the word families temp and vari.  The test will be on Monday 30th November.
