Today you are going to write a paragraph describing and comparing Lucy’s world and Narnia. A really good writing technique to help describe a setting is to use your senses. and write down all the comparisons you can find. Can you sort your ideas into the five senses.
When you have completed all your comparisons you can begin with your paragraph. Here is a a sentence to help get you started:
In Narnia, where it is forever winter, the temperature is always cold. Glistening snow covers the ground and muffles all sounds like cotton wool.

Documentary Time
As our your timetable shows on Wednesdays we will be checking out an interesting documentary. This interesting documentary is about how different animals take responsibility to create their living habitats. As humans we may go to IKEA to help build the living environment we want but it is interesting to see the different things animals have to do to build theirs.

Friday is here!
Hey Guys, I hope you were all able to join in the clapping for carers yesterday.I really enjoyed speaking with most of you this week and as I explained on the phone I will be calling you every week to hear how you are getting on. I absolutely love the snowflakes designs that you guys have done, keep up the good work.

A mountain of the world
Pick a mountain from the photo bank or draw another one you know of. Maybe even create an imaginary mountain. Make a fact file for it. Write about its elevation, its location, its animals and plants, its formation and its relationship to humans. You may need to do some research!
Art:
Aboriginal dot painting
Aboriginal dot paintings show animals, patterns and symbols made up from hundreds of small painted dots. Dot pictures often tell stories about the lives and history of Australian Aborigines. Use the tools provided to create your own Aboriginal dot painting.
