Year 1 Week 2 Day 4
Good morning Year One!
Before we start with our daily routine, I would just like to remind you to check Miss Ascough’s blog as she has some interesting competitions lined up for you!
Well done to Jaky, Jayjay, Jessica, Calum, Cassius, Quratulain, Leonor, Alisya, Faria and Cian for completing your assignments on Busy Things. I know that many of you also work on your learning packs and some of you even go for the extra mile in finding various tasks on different websites. Tomorrow we will find out who will go on RED for their fantastic effort and attitude for this unusual, new way of learning.

Buenos dias!!! Hoy es Miércoles y esta nublado!!!
Hola chicos y chicas de All Souls School!!! yo estoy muy bien. Yesterday, I went to the school and it was so empty. It was very “triste”. Now, I am “feliz”, y tu, Como estas? (how are you?). Revise the vocabulary and try to sing.
Year 2 activity: L.O: to describe people using “feelings” vocabulary in Spanish .
Dear children revise the following questions and answers. Como the llamas? me llamo…, Cuantos anos tienes? tengo___anos, Donde vives? vivo en Londres, Inglaterra, revise days of the week: Lunes, Martes, Miercoles, Jueves, Viernes, Sabado, Domingo. Hoy es__(today), ayer fue__, manana sera___. Oral: Try to ask and respond these questions. Ask someone to help you. Teach Spanish to your family.
Writing activity: you can do this activity in your Literacy book (a new one was sent last Friday in your learning pack). Como estas? yo estoy__feliz__(how are you? I am happy). Write 5 sentences using the vocabulary from the video. Check the video and complete the following sentences. Write date”Miercoles 29 de Abril,2020 and L.O.
1. Yo estoy______, Mi madre esta_____, Mi Padre esta_____, Mi hermano esta_____, Mi hermana esta______. Extension: add more members of the family and write your own sentences. Tio (uncle), Tia (aunt), Mi perro (my dog), mi gato (my cat). Revise the song and sing along with your family.
Year 5 activity:L.O: to apply the gender rule to adjectives.
Dear children revise the following questions and answers. Writing activity: You will need an extra paper. Write your name, class, L.O and date in Spanish- Miercoles 29 de Abril,2020. Check this vocabulary and look for the meaning of each word in English, use a dictionary. You can use “wordreference” dictionary on line. Remember that words have gender in Spanish. If the word ends in “O” , it is for boys. If the word ends in “A” ,it is for girls. If the word ends in”E” or any other consonant, it is neutral (boys and girls). Click and check the vocabulary.
Write 10 sentences using the new vocabulary. Be careful with the gender. “Mi madre esta NERVIOSA, but, Mi Padre esta NERVIOSO”. Use the vocabulary of the family, for example; ” Mi madre esta____y______, Mi padre esta____y______, Mi hermana esta___y____,etc”. Extension: carry on with your Spanish booklet. Do two more pages.

Good morning and happy Wednesday
Today is Wednesday, the 29th of April, how are you doing today??
Yesterday was a rainy day but today we can see the sun again! Make sure that you get as much sunshine as you can from your home, that is making you healthier!
