Friday is here!
Hey Guys, I hope you were all able to join in the clapping for carers yesterday.I really enjoyed speaking with most of you this week and as I explained on the phone I will be calling you every week to hear how you are getting on. I absolutely love the snowflakes designs that you guys have done, keep up the good work.
Today you will be receiving your learning packs. I will be posting the information that goes alongside your work starting on Monday.
Your Busy Things tasks for today are:
Maths:
The length quiz
You will be comparing and calculating units of length.
Literacy:
A mountain of the world
Pick a mountain from the photo bank or draw another one you know of. Maybe even create an imaginary mountain. Make a fact file for it. Write about its elevation, its location, its animals and plants, its formation and its relationship to humans. You may need to do some research!
Art:
Aboriginal dot painting
Aboriginal dot paintings show animals, patterns and symbols made up from hundreds of small painted dots. Dot pictures often tell stories about the lives and history of Australian Aborigines. Use the tools provided to create your own Aboriginal dot painting.
I hope you have a relaxing weekend and are reading for learning on Monday.
Take Care.
