Hey guys,
This is just a reminder that today is bank holiday (VE day). Here are some fun activities for you to do this bank holiday weekend. Also, make sure your parents read the school newsletter on the school website.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/48201749 – Video and information about VE Day – What is it, when is it and why do we remember?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/watch/horrible-histories-songs-ve-day-song – Horrible Histories VE Day song that you can join in with.
PowerPoint about VE Day.
VE Day information sheet.
VE Day colouring page for you to print (if you have a printer) and colour.
design a VE Day medal.
create some VE Day bunting for decorating your house with.
make a WW2 Spitfire Glider.
crack the morse code.
have a VE Day party at home (includes WW2 recipes, dances and lyrics to songs).
Have a great weekend, will speak to you on Monday.
Good morning and happy Thursday
Today is Thursday the 7th of May, how are you?
I hope you enjoyed the phone calls yesterday! One important thing, tomorrow is VE day. As people across the nation will remember one of the most important victories in the WWII, there won’t be post or activities in busy things.
If you are still wondering what is VE day, click here for a wonderful song!
You can still have your routine and do the activities as normal. On Monday I will post in the blog again as normal and I’ll give you a call.
Keep safe and be good!
Francisco.

Buenos Dias!!! hoy es Viernes 7 de Mayo, 2020.
Bienvenidos chicos y chicas, es el “Fin de Semana” – the weekend. Que tal ? estoy maravilloso. Hace sol y buen tiempo. El sol es Amarillo, me gusta Amarillo. Que color te gusta? ( tell me your favourite colour). Let’s sing together and invite your family. Revise colours and spelling. You need colours everyday!!!
Year 4 activity: Dear children, we are going to start a new topic, “Los Vikingos”. L.O: to use nationalities in Spanish. To learn about Viking homelands and settlements. Check: De donde eres? (where are you from), Soy de Inglaterra, soy Ingles (I am English-boy), InglesA (I am English-girl).PAY ATTENTION!!! Revise question and answer.Ask someone to help you and you can teach your family Spanish. COUNTRIES: Inglaterra (England), Irlanda (Ireland), Dinamarca (Denmark), Noruega (Norway), Suecia (Sweden), Gales (Wales).Check my Map about Viking homelands and settlements.
Writing activity: you need to print the map or you can draw it ,you decide. Please, do not forget to write your name, class, L.O and date in Spanish. You need to label the map and complete the rest. You need to color. Use previous map. Then you need to introduce 8 people, 4 girls and 4 boys. Follow “mi ejemplo- my example”: “Mi amigO se llama Tom.
