Year 2 activity: dear children, we are going to start a new topic, “Castillos y Caballeros” castles and knights. L.O: to ask and respond to the question “Adonde vas? Yo voy a El Castillo de Madrid en coche (Where are you going to? I am going to The Madrid Castle by car). Check these castles in Espana-Spain.

Oral activity: Revise these places and use the new question and answer. Maybe you will need some transports: en coche- by car, en bus- by bus, en avion- by plane, en barco- by ship, en bici- by bike, en submarine-by submarine. For example; “Adonde vas? (Where are you going ?) yo voy a El_______(add name of the castle) en________(mode of transport). Ask someone to support you. Remember you can teach Spanish to your family.

Writing activity: ask your family “Adonde vas? Yo voy a El____ (castle) en_____(transport). You need to write 5 sentences. You can make up your sentences if you cannot ask anyone. Then, you need to write your sentences.

2. Mi padre va El________en__________

Carry on with: Mi hermano-brother, mi hermana-sister, Mi abuela- grandmother,

Extension: add more members of the family. Mi abuelo- grandfather, Mi perro-my dog, mi bebe- my baby. Revise the songs and check activities at your class page at our website. You can visit other classes and check the activities. You can do it because you are “Maravilloso”.

Year 5 activity: Dear children, we are going to start a new topic, “Los Egipcios”. L.O: to read and answer about “Tutankamon” story. Check this powerpoint about “Egipto”.

Writing activity: the story about “Tutankamon”. You have the story in Spanish and English.

Answer the next questions in Spanish. You will need to use both texts to answer these questions. Today, just paragraph 1 and 2. You will need an extra paper to do this activity, do not forget to write your name, class, L.O and date in Spanish. You need to write question (Spanish) and answer in Spanish. Full answers and remember questions marks at the beginning and at the end, “Gracias”.
