Buenos dias a todos!!! Hoy es Martes 5 de Mayo y hace buen tiempo!!!
Hola chicos y chicas , Que tal? yo muy bien . Me gusta comer fruta y verduras. Te gusta la fruta o la verdura? (do you like fruits or vegetables?). They are very good for you. Check the video and try to learn the new vocabulary. Ask your family to join you. Teach Spanish to your family.
Year 1 activity: Dear children , we are going to start a new topic ” Castillos y Caballeros “- Castles and Knights. L.O: to ask and respond to the question “Donde vives? Vivo en Londres, Vivo en un castillo (where do you live? I live in London, I live in a castle). check the song. Revise members of the family.
Oral activity: Ask someone to help you. You can add colours to describe your castle. Colours: rojo, azul, amarillo, verde, marron, negro, blanco, rosa , gris, violeta. For example, “Vivo en un castillo rosa, amarillo y azul” – I live in a pink, yellow and blue.
Writing activity: download the picture or you can draw on an extra paper. Do not forget to write your name, your class, L.O and date in Spanish. Colour the castles and write a full sentence to describe your castle. You need to add colours and adjectives to describe: grande-big, pequeno-small, bonito-beautiful, feo- ugly, antiguo-old, moderno-modern. For example, “Vivo en Londres. Vivo en un castillo azul y rojo. Es grande y antiguo (I live in London. I live in a blue and red castle. It is big and old).

Year 6 Activity: Dear children , we are going to start a new topic, it is about William Shakespeare. L.O: to use verb “leer” in Spanish. Verb to read. Remember: “Leer” is a verb ending in “ER”. So we need to apply the rule about verbs ending in “ER”. Check: “Yo leo…-I read, Tu lees…- you read, El/Ella lee…- he/she reads…, Nosotros leemos…- we read…, Vosotros leis…- you read (plural -a group), Ellos leen…- they read.
Oral activity: Revise the question: Que lees? yo leo un periodico- a news paper, un libro- a book, una revista – a magazine, un articulo- an article, un cuento- a tale, una historia- a story, una carta – a letter. Asks someone to help you to check the question and the new vocabulary.
Writing activity: you need to write full sentences for each pronoun and translate into English, for example: Yo leo un libro= I read a book, Tu lees un cuento – you read a tale, El lee…etc. Then, check the William Shakespear’s powerpoint and learn a little bit about his life. At the end you will find some of his greatest plays. Try to translate them into Spanish. You will need a dictionary. You can use “wordreference” on line. Write 3 more sentences using “Yo leo____” + one of his plays in Spanish.

Challenge: Try to learn this song, if you can. You can carry on with “Mi vida Loca”- BBC spanish (1 chapter).
Querida Olivia, espero que estes muy bien. Tu puedes elegir un libro de Shakespeare y lo lees. Puede ser uno cortito. Esa es tu actividad. Saludos a tu madre. Hasta pronto.
Adios and be safe!!! and do your activities.
Mr.Gonzalo.
