Good morning Year One and Happy Tuesday!
It was lovely to talk to some of you yesterday and to hear your cheerful voices. I hope I will have a chance to speak to more of you today, so be ready ! I think lots of you enjoyed creating fun faces yesterday, I really loved your creativity. Well done to all of you who worked as well on your Maths and Literacy lesson, so the praise goes to the following children: Najah, Faria, Hana, Jaky, Calum, Jayjay, Cian, Cassious and Quratulain. Good morning and happy Tuesday
Today is Tuesday the 2nd of June.
Today we welcome Edwaldeeh and Joey back at The Village, they sure are going to do a lot of learning! Sara and Eliot can work still with your home learning packages and there are some activities also in Busy Things, have a look!
For the afternoon, you have various activities in the packages but in The Village we are going to make a play dough hedgehog:
If you want to make one here are the steps:
- Grab some play dough and make an egg shape.
- Pinch one of the sides to create a nose.
- Use some dry pasta and stick it in the upper part.
- Use two googly eyes and stick them above the nose.
If you don’t have googly eyes you can draw the eyes using a stick.
Keep safe and be good!

Buenos dias chicos y chicas!!! Que tal? Yo muy bien y maravilloso. Hoy es Martes 2 de Junio, 2020 y es “Primavera”. Check the song about “Las Estaciones del Ano”- the seasons of the year. Try to learn it by heart.

You can use wordreference on line or any other dictionary on line. It must be a safe website. Be creative and upload pictures to our school website.
Extension:learn the song “Agua” and “Las estaciones del ano”- seasons of the year by heart (above year 1 activity).
Check he PowerPoint about “The water cycle”. It is in English, so, you can learn about it.
