Happy Holidays Week 2!
Hi Year 3,
We are now halfway through our Easter holiday break. It has been very different to the holiday I had planned but I am grateful for the time spent at home relaxing and learning new skills. I have been doing lots of delicious cooking, I have learnt to make chicken and mushroom risotto, spaghetti and meatballs, Shepherd’s pie, Thai green chicken curry and BBQ meat and veg. My housemates and I have been doing lots of fun things too, like having pamper days, doing yoga and watching lots of movies. We even had our own Easter egg hunt yesterday!
I would love to hear what you have all been up to. Please tell me in the comments what you have been doing for the holidays or for Easter.
From next week, I will be blogging everyday and giving you Busy Things activities again. The learning next term will be different to the last few weeks but I will explain more next week and when I call your parents again.
Miss you all lots and lots.

Happy Holidays Week 1!
Happy holidays Year 3!
I can’t believe it’s the Easter holidays already. I was supposed to fly to New York yesterday but instead, this week I will be doing lots of exercise, drawing, baking, playing piano, guitar and ukelele and having our first BBQ of the year!
I would love to know what you are planning to do over the Easter break! Please make sure to take photos because you can now send them to photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk. That way we will be able to share our photos and see what everyone is up to.
It is important that you treat the next couple of weeks as holidays and you enjoy them relaxing with your family. However, here are a couple of fun things to check out if you need something to do…
Busy Things has an Easter Egg Hunt competition underway – if you find 5 eggs, you get entered into a prize draw and two winning schools will win prizes…

Morning Year 3!
It’s officially the last day of term – I wish we could have been at school to have our movie and popcorn party.
A big well done to Fady, Lola, Amber, Rougayatou, Celia, Areej, Asif, Azaan and Yahya for completing their Busy Things activities already! It was also so nice to hear from Betty, Yahya, Amber, Safa, Lola, Dominic and Amana for responding to my blog posts yesterday! It would be lovely to hear from everyone today, especially because it’s the last day before holidays. Just write “hello Miss Gluyas and Year 3” so I know you’ve read it!
How exciting – Mr Gonzalo now has his own Spanish blog, so please check it out for yourselves!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter break. I will still write a couple of blog posts during the break so please keep checking in and telling me what you’re up to. I miss you all!

PS – I’m finishing this Friday’s blog with a message from Mrs. Plesniak!
Well done everyone for all your hard work at home for the last 2 weeks. Today marks the end of the Spring term and it is now time for you to relax and spend time with your families for the next 2 weeks.
Over the Easter break the teachers will be busy planning new paper work packs for you all, which will be delivered to you at home at some point over the first week.
In the meantime, please make sure you are checking your class blogs for a messages from your teacher. During Week 1 of the Summer Term, the teachers will be setting you some new maths and Busy Things activities and I will be setting you a creative writing challenge each day.
We are missing you all and think about you every day. Remember keep reading, keep moving and keep on being kind to your families.
