Hola a todos!!! Como están? yo estoy muy bien y hoy hace sol y muy buen tiempo. Let me tell you that today I am going to cook “Panqueques”, “me gustan los panqueques con chocolate!!! son deliciosos. Check the video and try to sing along. You can do your own “Panqueques”.
Year 4 activity: Hoy es Jueves 14 de Mayo ,2020. L.O: to write a letter using the Spanish language. Dear children we are going to write a letter to children in Spain. We have a friend school in Tenerife, Spain. At the moment, they are at home like you. The first part of the letter is in Spanish. Follow my example, “Queridos amigos de Tenerife, me llamo___, tengo___anos, vivo en Londres, Inglaterra. Yo soy Ingles /Inglesa. Mi cumpleanos es en ______(months-birthday). Me gusta____, no me gusta____(color). Me gusta comer____y____( eat-food), me gusta beber_______,________y________(drinks). Yo soy ______,_______y____ (adjectives- “grande, pequeno, feo, bonito, gordo -fat, delgado -thin, rapido, lento). Yo uso el ordenador y la radio (I use the computer and the radio- you need to change the gadget). Me gusta el chocolate blanco y negro porque es deliciouso ( I like white and dark chocolate because it is delicious. Extra words: muy bueno= very good, sabroso= nice, muy rico= yummy ). Remember: if you can not remember the vocabulary , you can go to “WordReference” on line dictionary. The second part is in English. You need to write about things you have done at home during this time. You can write all your stories or things you are going to do in the future. Be careful: capital letters, spelling, vocabulary, wow words, punctuation. You need to write 3 paragraphs. You must write full sentences.
You need to create and make an envelope for your letter. Please, do something nice and beautiful. We are sending these letters to Spain when we come back to the school, OK.

Hola a todos!!! Hoy es Miercoles 13 de Mayo,2020.
Hola chicos y chicas , estoy muy bien, Que tal? , Hoy hace frio y viento, Que tiempo hace? Do you remember this song? ask your family to join you. You will need to listen carefully to learn the song. Try to learn and sing the song .
Year 2 activity: L.O: to create and make a castle. You will need some materials to make your castle. Maybe you can use recycling materials, such as, card paper, cereal boxes, any kind of paper box, plastic bottles, plastic, etc. You have to create and make your castle and you have to introduce yourself and your castle in Spanish. Follow my example; ” Me llamo Gonzalo. Yo soy un Rey-una Reina ( I am a king, “Reina”- queen). Tengo 40 anos. Yo soy bonito y grande ( describe yourself: feo-ugly, grande-big, pequeno-small) Mi reino se llama “Gonzalolandia” (my kingdom is called…). Este es mi Castillo Bonito y grande (this is my beautiful and big castle). Yo voy a El Castillo de las Almas en coche y tren ( I go to the Castle of the Souls by car and train). Mi madre va a El Castillo de las Maravillas en avion (My mum goes to the castle of wonders by plane).You change the names of the castles and transports. Extension: write full sentences for : “Mi padre va el…., mi abuelo va a el…, Mi abuela va a el…You have to label the parts of your castle in Spanish. You will need to be able to name the parts of the castle in Spanish. Check the vocabulary.

Year 5: L.O : to ask and respond questions about “Tutankamon”. Today , I want you to carry on working with the text- paragragh 3 and 4. You have to create 6 questions with their answers ( 3 questios and answers for each paragragh). You have to write your questions in English but your answers in Spanish. You will need both texts , English and Spanish (previous lesson – last week). You will need an extra paper to write and do not forget to write your name, class,L.O and date in Spanish.
Start looking for recycling materials to create a “Piramide ” or “Una esfinge”. You can use whatever you want: paper, card boxes, plastic, plastic bottles, paint, etc.
Extension: look for more information about “Piramides”, “Esfinge”, “Momias” and “Rio Nilo”.

Year 6 activity: L.O: use verb to go “Ir” in Spanish. Today , you have two activities. First, read the PowerPoint about William Shakespeare (last week). Then, you have to create 4 questions and their answers in English. Second activity, click below and check the picture and the places around the city. Try to find out the meaning of each place.
Then, write full sentences using the new verb to go- “IR”: “Yo voy a_____, Tu vas a______, El va_____, Ella va_______, Nosotros (NostrAS -girls) vamos a_______, Vosotros (VosotrAS-girls) vais a_______, Ellos/ Ellas van a _______(you need to add a place from the picture in Spanish).

Year 2 activity: dear children, we are going to start a new topic, “Castillos y Caballeros” castles and knights. L.O: to ask and respond to the question “Adonde vas? Yo voy a El Castillo de Madrid en coche (Where are you going to? I am going to The Madrid Castle by car). Check these castles in Espana-Spain.
Oral activity: Revise these places and use the new question and answer. Maybe you will need some transports: en coche- by car, en bus- by bus, en avion- by plane, en barco- by ship, en bici- by bike, en submarine-by submarine. For example; “Adonde vas? (Where are you going ?) yo voy a El_______(add name of the castle) en________(mode of transport). Ask someone to support you. Remember you can teach Spanish to your family.

Year 6 Activity: Dear children , we are going to start a new topic, it is about William Shakespeare. L.O: to use verb “leer” in Spanish. Verb to read. Remember: “Leer” is a verb ending in “ER”. So we need to apply the rule about verbs ending in “ER”. Check: “Yo leo…-I read, Tu lees…- you read, El/Ella lee…- he/she reads…, Nosotros leemos…- we read…, Vosotros leis…- you read (plural -a group), Ellos leen…- they read.
Oral activity: Revise the question: Que lees? yo leo un periodico- a news paper, un libro- a book, una revista – a magazine, un articulo- an article, un cuento- a tale, una historia- a story, una carta – a letter. Asks someone to help you to check the question and the new vocabulary.
Writing activity: you need to write full sentences for each pronoun and translate into English, for example: Yo leo un libro= I read a book, Tu lees un cuento – you read a tale, El lee…etc. Then, check the William Shakespear’s powerpoint and learn a little bit about his life. At the end you will find some of his greatest plays. Try to translate them into Spanish. You will need a dictionary. You can use “wordreference” on line. Write 3 more sentences using “Yo leo____” + one of his plays in Spanish.

Hola y bienvenidos! I hope you are “muy , muy bien”. Let’s start singing “Los dias de la semana” , sing along with your family. Teach Spanish to your family. “Aqui vamos , Hoy es …(today is…), Ayer fue…( yesterday), Manana sera..(tomorrow). Check the video , it is a new version.
Year 3 activity: Hoy es Lunes 4 de Mayo,2020. L.O: to be able to recycle in the right recycling bin. Dear children this week , we are going to start a new topic “Reciclar”- recycling. Oral activity: Let’s start singing “La cancion del agua”. You need to learn the song by heart. Teach the song to your family and sing the whole day.
Check and learn “Mi vocabulario”-my vocabulary: “Plastico”- plastic, “Latas”-can, “Vidrio”-glass, “Papel y carton”- paper and card, “Ropa”- clothes, “Cosas reusables”- reusable items, “Basura en general”-waste services, “Abono”-compost.
Writing activity: sort out my rubbish. You can print the activity or you can draw on an extra paper. Write your name , class, L.O and date in Spanish. You need to cut , glue and color. Then , choose 2 objects of each recycling bin and write full sentences, follow my example: “Yo reciclo (I recycle) manzana(apple-object) en el Abono (in the compost). You need to write 2 sentences for each recycling bin. Maybe , you will need to find out the meaning of some words. You will need a dictionary, you can use “wordreference” on line.
