Year 1 Bubble Closure
Dear Year 1 Class!
I hope you guys had a lovely weekend and you are all feeling well.
Unfortunately we had to close our bubble as the safety of all of you is of a paramount importance to us. We are going to do our best in order to support you during these two weeks and we hope you will quickly get used to this new way of learning and communication.
We will write daily blogs for the class where you can find all about the class routine, timetable and instructions on how to do your daily work. For example:
Monday, 16th March:
1 pm : Handwriting sheet from your pack
1.3o pm: Reading – 1.30 pm: Reading – This website has excellent books, https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ just click on ‘class login’ at the top and enter our class username: allsouls1 and password: allsouls1 (they’re both the same!). Now click on ‘Oxford Owl E-book Library’ and choose your book!
https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/api/digital_books/1111.html
2 pm: P.E with Joe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwD23OPFnwE
From tomorrow you will have daily lessons in Literacy and Maths. You can access them by following instructions on the blog and by listening to your teachers short video on Classroom.google.com. You will also have short Phonics sessions as well, as the usual afternoon lessons in Science, History and R.E according to the timetable.
All the best and don’t worry, we will see you soon, back at school.
Stay safe!
Ms. Duda Boric and Mrs. Leow- Clifford

Last day of Year 1!
Wow Year 1, I can’t believe it’s the end of the school year already!
I have loved being one of your teachers this year, you have all been amazing and I’m so proud of each and every one of you. I am sad I haven’t seen you all in such a long time but I can’t wait to say hello and wave to you all in September when you’ll be on the opposite side of the corridor in Year 2! You have all grown up so much this year and you are all super learners so I know you are ready for the challenges and fun of Year 2.
A big thank you to all the Year 1 parents and carers for your support this year and I look forward to waving at you all in September also!
Lots of love
Mrs Leow-Clifford
