I am very excited to be welcoming you and if you decided to join us, please make sure you come to school on time so we can accommodate everyone according to the new rules. On our website you can find all the relevant information, including a social story for our class about returning to school. I would also like to introduce a very popular online maths game called the Sumdog.
Sumdog is an online learning platform that has proven very popular for schools. This is something extra for you and your child to look at helping to motivate work on their maths along with some English and spelling, at home. In the current climate the website states that all online learning is free until the outbreak is over. All you have to do is the following:
-
Make a free parent account (This makes you an administrator for your child)
-
Next, set up a login for your child.
Usually, if a family wanted full access they would have to pay a subscription of £4.00 per month but the website states that during COVID-19, ALL access is free.
https://www.sumdog.com/parent/sign_up?_ga=2.189944622.463318187.1587114085-17679615.1587114085
