Monthly Archives: March 2020
Happy Thursday everyone!!
Today is Thursday the 26th of March.
How are you doing today? I’m doing fine, keeping myself busy with a book yesterday, now is the time to do lots of reading!
As everyday, you have some assignments at Busy Things. Today you can do Math and literacy as always and some Spanish too! I also have assign an art project in case you want to get creative.
There are some work that I like you to do to practice in Math go to addition and subtraction and in English go to handwriting and presentation; there are some good games for you to practice.
Also! Miss Alcough has created a blog too, I will let you know when she add something new but feel free to check it yourself.
Have a nice day and be safe!!

Sunny Thursday
Dear Year One!
Another sunny day and I hope you have it well planned.
Has anyone been busy tidying their room this morning and helping their mums in the kitchen? Let me know how you spend your mornings.
If you are in touch with anyone from your class please let them know about the blog and assignments on Busy Things! Ask your parents to give them a ring. It would be nice to have a bigger group and to know how everyone is doing.
Miss Ascough has started wring her blog too and she will be doing this regularly. It would be nice to say hello to her as well and don’t forget we are here to answer any questions that you might have.
Lots of Love
Ms. Boric

Who in Year 2 can read this?
Hello again Year 2!
This is the second message from me today! It would be really helpful for me to know who is reading this, so if you are, please leave a comment to say hello so I know that you are there!
I’m looking forward to hearing from you! Thank you 🙂

Thursday
Good morning year 5,
I have added some more activities to busy things and I have extended all activities that have not been been completed by many children, to next Monday to give more of you a chance to complete them.
Also, please make sure you check the ‘Miss Ascough’ blog every week. This is a weekly reflection/ collective worship post for you to read, so that we are all coming together and know that we are here for each other.
Have good Thursday’s – If you are feeling bored, offering to help your parents with some jobs might be useful.
Take care

It’s Thursday!
Dear Year 2,
How are you feeling this morning? Can you believe it’s been one whole week since we were last in school? I’m missing you all lots and love seeing all that you are doing on busy things and your comments on these blogs. Remember to check your “Assignments” folder on busy things and do those activities before you choose your own. Don’t forget to keep going with the home learning packs, too.
Miss Ascough has now started a blog, too. She’ll be writing to say hello and give us all something to reflect on, like we do in Collective Worship.
What are you learning today? Leave me a comment to let me know!
Love from Mrs Legg

Day 6
Morning Year 6,
I hope you are all well. I decided to make a banana cake yesterday with some overripe bananas I had in my flat. Have any of you been baking?
I have uploaded 2 assignments on Busy Things today:
English – What is an adjective?
Maths – Calculating perimeters – Level 2.
R.E. – I am unable to upload any R.E. assignments for you on Busy Things, so I have found a really good website that allows you to explore different religions called ‘Espresso Primary – Faiths’. Follow the link below to access the ‘Buddhism’ page – here you can watch videos, take part in some activities, find out information using the factfiles, print off resources (if you have a printer), look at images and read some books…
Fancy visiting some penguins today? I have found a link to ‘Penguin Beach’ situated in South Devon. Here you can watch the penguins using the ‘penguin webcam’.

You may have noticed that Miss Ascough is now blogging too. Miss Ascough’s blog will appear on a weekly basis, and will include some reflection time activities for you to take part in.
Take care and be good!

Hello from Miss Ascough
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all keeping happy and safe. Welcome to my first ever blog! I will be updating my blog page each week mainly just to say hi and let you know I am still here keeping an eye on you and checking you are all ok. I will also post some things you may want to look at and do, as well some opportunities for reflection.
This week I want you all to make a rainbow and display it in your window at home, this way we can all spread a little happiness around our communities. Please take a picture of your rainbow and when you return to school we can display them all.
Why not also take the time to read one of the most well known rainbow stories of all. The story of Noah’s Ark. If you don’t have a Bible there are lots of versions of the story on You Tube, why don’t you ask your parent or carer to have a look for you. If you want to listen to other Bible stories Kelly Dahl our school’s worker at Clubhouse is reading stories from the Bible live on her Youtube channel – KellyDahl- Children’s Ministry every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday live at 3.30pm.
Look out for my new blog early next week! Till then take care, be kind to everyone in your household and remember how proud I am of you all.
