Day 6

Morning Year 6,

I hope you are all well.  I decided to make a banana cake yesterday with some overripe bananas I had in my flat.  Have any of you been baking?

I have uploaded 2 assignments on Busy Things today:

English – What is an adjective?

Maths – Calculating perimeters – Level 2.

R.E. – I am unable to upload any R.E. assignments for you on Busy Things, so I have found a really good website that allows you to explore different religions called ‘Espresso Primary – Faiths’.  Follow the link below to access the ‘Buddhism’ page – here you can watch videos, take part in some activities, find out information using the factfiles, print off resources (if you have a printer), look at images and read some books…

Fancy visiting some penguins today?  I have found a link to ‘Penguin Beach’ situated in South Devon.  Here you can watch the penguins using the ‘penguin webcam’.

You may have noticed that Miss Ascough is now blogging too.  Miss Ascough’s blog will appear on a weekly basis, and will include some reflection time activities for you to take part in.

Take care and be good!

Miss Cooley

    Hello

I was just doing some busy things.

My Dad did do some baking as well as my mum.

We had a laugh about how stony his bread was after 10 minutes.

Hope you all have had a nice time.

Hope your family’s have had a nice time.

    Love

    Jaber and family

      Good afternoon Jaber,

Sounds like your Mum and Dad are having a little cooking competition with each other – who will be the judge of the best bread?

I am missing all of Year 6 but I am very well.

Hi Miss Cooley, I hope you are okay. Your banana cake sounds delicious and yes in fact I will be doing some baking today myself and make some apple crumble! Also every Sunday starting from this weekend me my mum and dad are going to be jogging around Regents Park to stay fit and healthy. I hope you enjoy the rest of this sunny Thursday. 🙂

      Good afternoon Crystal,

I am missing seeing all of you but I am well.

I hope you are going to eat your apple crumble with custard or ice-cream! I have never made my own crumble – maybe you could share your recipe on here?

So pleased you are all going to go jogging around Regent’s Park – you will be able to show your Mum and Dad how far you can run without stopping! I bet they will be very impressed with you.

Did you visit the penguins today?
