Hi Year 3,

How was your weekend? Mine was very relaxing. This morning I’ve made chocolate chip pancakes with berries and they were delicious 🙂

You should be starting Day 3 of the learning packs today. Please let me know if you need any help!

Well done to the group of people who have accessed Busy Things and completed the tasks I have already set for you. Please complete the grammar and maths if you haven’t already. You will also find some Spanish activities from Mr Gonzalo too.

Also, Joe Wicks on YouTube is doing a daily workout at 9am every weekday and you can use this as a PE lesson. Please copy and paste this link and press subscribe to take part!

Day 3

Dear Year 6,

I hope you all had a good weekend and managed to get outside for a bit of fresh air.  I did a bit of gardening at home…it felt good to be in the sunshine.

So pleased to see so many of you accessing the assignments on Busy Things.  Remember that each assignment will only be accessible for 1 day.  I have uploaded 4 Busy Things assignments for you to do today:

English – Prefix or suffix?

Maths – Fractions to decimals.

Science – Circulatory system.

History – Tudor family tree.

I know many of you have read ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ by Anne Frank, so thought you might like to visit the museum of Anne Frank’s house online – follow this link to see inside…

https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/web-and-digital/

I am in the process of adding extra information on the class pages of the school website. One of the links I shared is a P.E. lesson with Joe Wicks.  He will do a daily workout at 9am every weekday – follow this link to take part (you will need to press subscribe before you do the workout)…

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ

Hope you all have a great Monday and I will catch up with you again tomorrow.

Miss Cooley

It’s a beautiful sunny Monday! 23.3.20

Good morning Year 2!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend with your families.  I played lots of board games with my husband but sadly he beat me every time!  I’ll have to keep persevering until I manage to beat him!

It’s time to pick up your home learning packs again today.   In Literacy you should be reading a little more of Peter Rabbit and then there is a writing task for you to do.  Perhaps a grown up could help you type your writing into a comment here – I’d love to read it!  In Maths you’ll be solving some problems about time.  Then you can choose one of the Other Subjects activities to do – let me know which one you choose!  I’ll also put some more activities on busy things – today there will be some Science because that is what we normally do in school on Mondays.

Don’t forget to join in with the PE lesson at 9am, too!

Keep smiling Year 2.  I’m so proud of all you’re doing.

Love from Mrs Legg
