Day 3

Dear Year 6,

I hope you all had a good weekend and managed to get outside for a bit of fresh air.  I did a bit of gardening at home…it felt good to be in the sunshine.

So pleased to see so many of you accessing the assignments on Busy Things.  Remember that each assignment will only be accessible for 1 day.  I have uploaded 4 Busy Things assignments for you to do today:

English – Prefix or suffix?

Maths – Fractions to decimals.

Science – Circulatory system.

History – Tudor family tree.

I know many of you have read ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ by Anne Frank, so thought you might like to visit the museum of Anne Frank’s house online – follow this link to see inside…

https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/web-and-digital/

I am in the process of adding extra information on the class pages of the school website. One of the links I shared is a P.E. lesson with Joe Wicks.  He will do a daily workout at 9am every weekday – follow this link to take part (you will need to press subscribe before you do the workout)…

Hope you all have a great Monday and I will catch up with you again tomorrow.

    Good morning Miss Cooley,
on the 2017 math arithmetic paper, questions 31 and 32 are repeated and questions 33 and 34 are missing .Should I still mark it?

    • tcooley says:

      Morning Olivia,

I have just checked the 2017 Arithmetic Paper online…

      Question 33 should be 0.9 x 200 =
      Question 34 should be 15% x 1000 =

If you reply with the answers to these, I can give you the answers.

      Hope that helps.

        Hi again,
I lost my Spanish booklet. I’m sorry

        • tcooley says:

          Morning Kapo,

If you do not find it, Mr Gonzalo has just written a letter, which I have just uploaded to the school website about other activities you can be doing.
I have put it in the ‘Curriculum – Spanish’ tab.

I have nearly finished my Spanish and i only have a couple more pages what should I do once have finish?

      Hi Mischa,

If you look at the school website, Mr Gonzalo has written a Spanish Newsletter with extra Spanish activities for you to access at home.
Every Tuesday, on Busy Things, he has also assigned you a Year 6 Spanish lesson, as this is your usual Spanish day.
I will also be uploading some extra Spanish, from Mr Gonzalo, to the Year 6 class page tomorrow.

      Hope that helps.

      Miss Cooley
