Which piece of home learning writing are you most proud of?
Hi Year 3
I hope this blog finds you safe and well. It feels like such a long time ago that I saw you all. I think about you often and am missing your smiley faces. My family and I are all fine and my boys have been working hard at home just like you. We are still up every morning in time to start our day with Joe Wicks. I often think of you all when we are doing it as it reminds me of your lunchtime sessions with Gerbeshi. I know lots of you have been busy exercising too which is really important for us to stay fit and healthy.
I look at the teacher’s blogs everyday and I am so impressed with how hard you have all been working at home. The photos you have been sending in are wonderful and we would love to receive some more. It seems like Y3 are now real experts about the importance of recycling and how plastic pollution has such a big effect on our beautiful world. Flotsam it such a wonderful book. Needless to say I have my own copy which I have just reread. I am sure that you will be able to write some fantastic stories of your own.
I really miss seeing your writing as you were all doing so well in school. This got me thinking and so I am asking you to send in a photo of the piece of writing you are most proud of since you have been learning at home. Use the following school email photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk
It is clear that lots of you have been developing new skills whilst you have been at home. Needless to say we have been doing lots of baking in my house – apple cake, peanut butter cookies, brioche, bread rolls and ginger cake ( I have had to up my running to 3 times a week!!) and my boys can now make omelettes, pancakes, humus and various pasta dishes by themselves.
Missing you all, keep up the good work!

The photo Miss Longwa posted today made me realise how luck we all are to live where we do even in such strange times. Another thing I have found out is that you have a special Happy Birthday song which I never got to hear. I look forward to you teaching it to me soon.

Hi Everyone
I hope this blog finds you safe and well? My family and I are all fine and my boys have been working hard at home just like you. We are still up every morning in time to start our day with Joe Wicks. I often think of you all when we are doing it as it reminds me of your lunchtime sessions with Gerbeshi.
I look at the teacher’s blogs everyday and I am so impressed with how hard you have all been working at home. The photos you have been sending in are great, I have particularly liked some of your science work. I see that this week you are doing something interesting with eggs.
Mr Roman’s comment about your writing is very true. We would love to see what you have been doing at home and Pobble is allowing you to show off your imaginations. I really miss seeing your writing as you were all doing so well in school. This got me thinking and so I am asking you to send in a photo of the piece of writing you are most proud of since you have been learning at home. I look at the teacher’s blogs everyday and I am so impressed with how hard you have all been working at home. It is great to see so many of you completing all your work and doing extra things too. This is great practice for when you are in Y 7.
I see from this morning’s blog you are learning about Macbeth. This is one of my favourite Shakespeare plays although it is a bit scary and gruesome in places. I have been lucky enough to see it live on stage, it was gripping. It is also the Shakespeare most secondary schools choose for GCSE so it is great that you will have some understanding of the story when you get to secondary school.
Miss Cooley showed me Jimi’s awesome writing about The Promise this week and I have seen photos of great writing from Aidan and Aaron. I really miss seeing your writing as you were all doing so well in school. This got me thinking and so I am asking you to send in a photo of the piece of writing you are most proud of since you have been learning at home.
