What piece of writing are you most proud of since you have been home learning?

Hi Everyone

I hope this blog finds you safe and well? My family and I are all fine and my boys have been working hard at home just like you.  We are still up every morning in time to start our day with Joe Wicks.  I often think of you all when we are doing it as it reminds me of your lunchtime sessions with Gerbeshi.

I look at the teacher’s blogs everyday and I am so impressed with how hard you have all been working at home.  It is great to see so many of you completing all your work and doing extra things too.  This is great practice for when you are in Y 7.

I see from this morning’s blog you are learning about Macbeth.  This is one of my favourite Shakespeare plays although it is a bit scary and gruesome in places.  I have been lucky enough to see it live on stage, it was gripping.  It is also the Shakespeare most secondary schools choose for GCSE so it is great that you will have some understanding of the story when you get to secondary school.

Miss Cooley showed me Jimi’s awesome writing about The Promise this week and I have seen photos of great writing from Aidan and Aaron. I really miss seeing your writing as you were all doing so well in school.   This got me thinking and so I am asking you to send in a photo of the piece of writing you are most proud of since you have been learning at home.  Use the following school email photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk

It is clear that lots of you have been developing new skills whilst you have been at home.  Needless to say we  have been doing lots of baking in my house – apple cake, peanut butter cookies, brioche, bread rolls and ginger cake ( I have had to up my running to 3 times a week!!) and my boys can now make omelettes, pancakes, humus and various pasta dishes by themselves.

Missing you all, keep up the good work!

Hello Miss Plesniak, sorry that I did not chat with you earlier, I thought that I did. I have re-written my probable ending story and have improved it but it could still be better. Have a great day!:)
