Day 5

Morning Year 6,

Wishing we were all getting ready for our ‘Weekly Mile’ this morning – what a perfect day to run 6 times around the Square.  I may go for a run anyway and pretend that you are all running behind me!

I have uploaded 2 assignments for you today:

English – What are prepositions?

Maths – Calculating areas – Level 2.

Computing – I thought that you could have a go at a ‘Scratch’ activity, so follow this link for a tutorial on how to create a cartoon…

Have any of you created a rainbow picture and put it up in your window yet?  You could use paint, coloured pencils/pens/crayons, or even make a collage using coloured paper.

I know some of you are very keen on your politics, so thought you might like a look inside the Houses of Parliament today!  There are 14 rooms for you to explore – my favourite room is the ‘House of Commons Chamber’ because I really like the wooden gallery.  Which one is your favourite?  Follow this link to see inside…

Missing you all.

    Good morning Miss Cooley,
hope that you and your family are well. I’m missing everybody a lot. How would you upload the picture of our rainbows?

      Morning Olivia,

My Dad and I are well, thank you. I hope you and your family are well too.

I definitely know that you cannot copy and paste pictures into a post or in a reply to a post. I managed to upload the picture of Oreo via j2e5 so I am going to upload instructions for you to be able to do this over the weekend. I look forward to seeing your creations when I have posted the instructions.

      Good afternoon Karim,

I am pleased to hear you are catching up with your homework – little and often is the best way.

Good to know that you are going to get out and have some fresh air too. It is such a lovely day today – I hope you and you little baby sister can make each other laugh.
