Good Morning Year 2,
I hope you are all well today.
I’ve put a few more activities on busy things today. There is a literacy activity, a maths activity and some Spanish from Mr Gonzalo.
On Wednesdays in school we would normally do Computing so I would also like you to try a computing task on busy things today. Go to Year 2 Mrs Legg – Computing – Busy Code – Code Disco. Then click on “Tutorial 1: The Basics” and work through that.
I’ve noticed that not as many of you have been completing the activities in the last few days as last week. Do keep going with them and keep writing me messages on here to let me know how you’re getting on – it really cheers me up to hear from you and I’m sure you enjoy hearing from each other too. If you notice that one of your friends hasn’t been joining in much, maybe you could ask a grown up to send them a message to make sure they know what’s going on!
Have a lovely day everyone. I’ll be checking this blog regularly today so just ask if you have any questions.
Lots of love,
Mrs Legg
I’ve just played busy things now I’m having some french bread for lunch
That sounds yummy, Venice! What did you play on busy things?
Miner birds
That’s a great game!
I love that game too Venice.
.
Hi mrs Legg I hope your well. I Completed
a chapter book in one day and it’s called our gags. I enjoyed reading the book because the children called their granny gags. I’ve been working on my maths and my literacy very well.
Love from Macie moo
Hi Macie! Well done, I’m so pleased to hear that you’re reading lots – it’s the most important thing you can do to keep learning whilst we’re not at school. Great work with your Maths and Literacy, too. Love from Mrs Legg
Every night I read this fact book called Star twinkle
That sounds really interesting, Mia. What have you learnt from it?
I learnt that Jupiter is so huge that all the other planets could fit inside it!
Sorry. MrsLegg I woke up at half-one in the afternoon but my nail came off so I had to calm down because
I felt like it’s going to stay there for the whole year. And I fell asleep on my dad’s shoulder the end .
Love from Macie moo
Oh dear, Macie! Don’t worry, we all have days like that. Keep smiling 🙂
Dear Mrs. Legg
I really do miss you. Did Macie have the blues.
I miss you too, Elaine! Well done for getting on with all your learning at home. 🙂
I also have loved Miner Birds and I challenged myself by adding players!
I put 4 players I put it on level two because level three and more are trickier than I thought!
There are 2 Miner birds rock and dirt/soil.
