Morning Year 6,
I cannot believe today marks the end of March! I hope you are all well and almost finished with your home-learning packs – I am going to include links to the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Maths Reasoning Papers towards the end of this blog, as I know these were missing from your folders you have at home. The sample 2016 and 2016 papers are not available to link but I can copy and paste the website for you to download them yourselves.
I have uploaded 2 Busy Things assignments today as you would normally have Spanish in the afternoon…
English – What is punctuation? (2).
Maths – Common multiples of 2, 5 and 10.
Mrs P has managed to get us the First News as a PDF version whilst we are learning from home. I know how much some of you like reading this newspaper, so I have made a link on our school website to access this every Friday. Here is the first one that I have uploaded…

Well done to all of you who are accessing Busy Things and our Year 6 blog on a daily basis. I still have not heard from Abdullah, Lorenzo or Adyan. If any of you are in contact with them, please let them know that I hope they are well, and that it would be nice to hear from them.
I will be catching up with all of your parents (via telephone) over this week, to see how you are all getting on.
Have a great Tuesday.

Good afternoon Miss Cooley! How are you and your family(and oreo)!? What has that little cat of yours been up to? 😉
Aleena xoxo
Have a great Tuesday too! 🙂
Dear Aleena,
I am well and my Dad is too. I have just spoken to him over the phone and he was telling me that Oreo woke him up at 2am and then 5am. She gets bored very easily and wakes my Dad up…but when he gets up, she goes back to sleep. Very cheeky!

Good morning Miss Cooley,
I hope that you are well and good, thank you for the advice I will do as you say, my cat wakes me up too! I did the daily exercise this morning, it was fun and made me laugh. I will look at the reasoning papers that you sent a link too. Thank you! I hope that you have fun. Also I hope that you enjoyed your exercise yesterday. Also I hope that you enjoy your day and that you have fun. Stay happy and healthy. Do well and have fun.
From Aidan Yr6
Good afternoon Aidan,
I am pleased that you did the Joe Wicks workout. I have not tried this, yet, as I have been going for a little run around my local park and doing some weights at home.
I will post the answers to the Maths Reasoning papers next week so that you can mark your papers.
Take care and stay safe.

Good afternoon Miss Cooley,
When do I need to do the readimg paper? I wasn’t there to do it and when do I need to complete all of the work by? Have a great rest of the day. Be careful out there!
I also did some Busy Things but I don’t know if they went through.
Good evening Oliver,
The reading paper in the pack? You should have a schedule to follow as part of the pack. If not do, do some Maths, English and a piece of topic work each day. Do not worry too much about when to finish it all by.
I have checked Busy Things and your work is submitted. You got 100% so well done!!
Take care.
Miss Cooley x
Thank you Miss Cooley
Thanks bye, stay safe!
