Dear Year 6,
Are any of you going to do the Weekly Mile today? I am possibly going to go for a run around my local park this afternoon.
It was so good to speak with some of your parents yesterday – I will be continuing my phone calls today – so if I have not been in touch with your parents yet, I will be soon.
I have uploaded 2 Busy Things assignments for you today – these will be kept open until tomorrow (2nd April):
English – Is it a noun?
Maths – Common multiples of 3, 4 and 8.
As we would normally have P.E. today, I suggest you either do the Joe Wicks workout at 9am, or try learning how to dance with the world renowned dance group ‘Diversity’!
Follow the link below for a free trial (only available until 1st May)…
A huge well done to these pupils for accessing Busy Things yesterday and completing the assignments:
Anna, Aaron, Jaber, Aleena, Jimi, Oliver and Mischa.
I know from speaking with some parents that most of you are still working through your paper packs – this is great but please try to login to the Year 6 blog on a daily basis, as important information about learning etc might get posted, and I would not want you to miss anything.
Have a great Wednesday – look forward to hearing from you.

This is Miss Cooley…testing that this works for Adyan.
Good afternoon Miss Cooley! I hope you are well! Instead of doing the daily mile, I did the PE with Joe with my mum and zayaan. I hope that you do well and that you have fun and is safe! I’m getting a bit lazy so I’m trying not to. I blogged you before but I accidentally deleted my message.

I forgot! I printed the test papers but I just did not print the 2016 SAMPLE papers. But I printed everything else and the normal 2016 papers. Okay bye again!

Great that you have printed them all off. I will post links to the answers next week.

Good afternoon Aidan,
I am pleased that you did the Joe Wicks workout – great that you did this with your Mum and little brother too!
It is hard to keep motivated but hopefully Busy Things and blogging is occupying some of your time. Why not have a go at writing your own story like Aaron?

Hello Miss Cooley,
I hope you are well, I am good but missing school. I have done P.E with Joe Wicks this morning and went on a bike ride yesterday. I have done my home-learning pack this morning and I just baked banana bread with my mum, it’s in the oven right now!
From Jacob.
Good afternoon Jacob,
It was so nice to catch up with your Mum earlier. I hear you are working very hard and independently getting on with all of your tasks – this is great practise for being ready for secondary school.
I baked a banana cake last week – it was delicious! I bet you cannot wait for it to come out of the oven so that you can enjoy it.
Take care.

Hi Miss Cooley do we have to print out all of the reasoning papers?
I forgot to print out last week’s papers, but I will try and print out this week’s.
Good evening Olivia,
I tried to call your Mum earlier to catch up with how you are doing – there was no answer so I left a message. I will try to call again tomorrow.
You do not need to print them off as most of the answers you can do on paper. Does that help?
Hope you are well.

Hello Miss Cooley,
Sorry about her not answering the phone earlier, she had it on silent by mistake. You can call at any time.
Thank you.
Good morning Olivia,
No problem – I will be calling again later.
