Day 13

Happy Monday Year 6.

The Easter holiday has officially started.

Over this two week break, I am planning to carry out lots of jobs that I usually don’t have the time to do – like tidying up my garden, sorting through my wardrobe and clearing out my second bedroom, which has become a bit of a dumping ground!  I will be preparing for the Easter weekend by having a go at making my very own ‘Hot Cross Buns’ – wish me luck!  I will post a picture of them (if they are good enough) next week.

What are you planning to do over this Easter break?  Whatever you do, make sure you take some photos – you may have seen in Miss Ascough’s newsletter, or on the school website, that you can now send your photos to photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk.  I will be creating a space on our website to share these photos of you all.

It is important that you relax and enjoy these next couple of weeks with your family. However, if you need some ideas about how to spend your free time, follow the links below…

Busy Things has an Easter Egg Hunt competition underway – if you find 5 eggs, you get entered into a prize draw and two winning schools will win prizes…

A message for Karim – Mr Roman popped into school on Friday, found your CGP books and posted them to you.  You should receive them some time this week.

I will be posting another blog on Monday 13th April but will be checking for any replies every day – I look forward to hearing from you all.

Look after yourselves and your families.  Missing you all.

Miss Cooley xx

Good morning Miss Cooley, I am going to throw everything out of my cupboard and reorganise everything. A task a normally procrastinate about… hope I enjoy it!
Good luck on your baking! On Friday we made waffles, cream, ect.
It was delicious, but then I wanted to eat more but I began to regret my decisions. Good luck to you!

      Good afternoon Aidan,

A little bit of spring cleaning is good.

Your waffles sound delicious – I have never made my own. Do you have a waffle maker?

      Miss Cooley x

      • Aidan says:

We have a sandwich maker and you can change the mode by replacing the underneath. It sort of cooks it up and it well I can not really explain. The underneath we used was squares designed to make a waffle shape. I’m sorry that I can not explain it that well.
