Wednesday 22nd April

Good morning year 5!

Another sunny day to wake up to! It is Earth day… A time to think about how we are treating our planet and things we need to think about for the future. The link below takes you to a quiz to see how green you are!

Your pobble lesson for today involves using a colon to introduce a list

With the theme of Earth day here is another pobble link. Lots of information about what is happening to our planet and how we can help. There are 3 activities at the end of the slide if you would like to complete one.

On Busy things I have awakened 3 new activities which are:

  • Writing activity around global warming and its effect on the polar regions (In case you cannot access pobble)
  • Ordering pence and pounds
  • What time is it?

Also, here is a link to a transum brain teaser, as an extra. Make sure you follow the instruction carefully!

It was lovely to speak to you and your parents yesterday. For the parents and children I could not get hold of, I will be calling this morning, starting around 9, so listen out for the phone!

Have a great day Year 5 and keep up the good work.

Morning mr. Roman below is my pobble lesson:

Your diet should be full of all those fruits and veggies like cucumbers, tomato’s , lettuce, strawberry’s, spinach and much more! All these foods are good for you and give you lots of energy.
DID YOU KNOW? The more colourful the vegetable the more nutrients it has!
Your diet should be full of all these nutritious foods so you can stay healthy and fit.
