Good morning Year One!

It seems that you have enjoyed a busy start to the week, as lots of you completed your Busy Things assignments! Some of you especially enjoyed the  Islamic Art Activity and made 3 or even more designs! Huge well done goes to : Musa, Quratulain, Faria, Jaky, Layla. Leonor, Cian, Jayjay, Jessica, Cassius, Calum and Hana!

    I learnd that wen wind gets strong it turns into a tonaydo.

    The wind powers a Windmill. A windmill can be used to make electricity.

    Hi Ms. Boric,

    I learned that windmills turn grane in to flour and pump water.
    It creates electricity. When there are lots of windmills it is called a wind farm.

    There are 2 types of wind

    Prevailing wind and local wind.

    Prevailing wind is constant and local wind is not.

    Local wind is from oceans and mountains that moves trees and plants.
