Good morning Year 2!
How are you today? It was lovely to speak to some of you on the phone yesterday. I’ll be ringing the rest of you today, so do ask your grown ups to keep an eye on their phone!
Below are the videos you need for your learning today.
Literacy
This is Session 6. Get your writing book ready, write today’s date, and then press play. The video will tell you what to do.
Maths
Today we are learning to find a third.
Find today’s maths sheet and get ready with a pencil. The video will tell you when to answer the questions on the sheet. To find the video, you need to go to this website:
https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/
When you are there, you need to click on Week 2, Lesson 2 – Find a Third. It looks like this:
Remember we are not following the dates on the website.
Everything else you need for today is in your home learning packs.
Here are the links from the topic grid for this week (w/b 4th May). I will post them every day so don’t do all the activities in one go!
Also remember to have a look at the RE Lessons blog one day this week to watch a video from Trevor.

Hi Mrs Legg
I did my science experiments. I hope you enjoy looking at them.
The Fun With Density experiment was so good but my mom doesn’t have any food colouring so the water layer was all blank and I couldn’t see it seperate from the milk layer.
Hi Jaykop. I’m glad you enjoyed the experiments. I’ll keep an eye out for the photos and I look forward to seeing them!

Hi Mrs Legg, It’s Kaiya’s Mum, sorry I seem to have missed your calls, I’ve either been on the phone or on a zoom conference every time! Hopefully can speak tomorrow.
Hello! That’s ok! Is there a particular time today that would be best for you?
