Hello Miss Cooley, how are you?I hope you are good.Me and my dad ran 5K last week!Good job on your running.
I know it is bank holiday tomorrow but for everything else on the timetable when do we do that because for example,WhiteRoseMaths itโ€™s lesson 5 tomorrow and I am just confused when we should do it.
    Hopefully you will understand.

      Dear Rahul,

Well done on achieving 5k. I am currently doing an 80k challenge – I have to add up all my runs and when I achieve 80k, I will get a medal!

Your Maths and English that would have been for tomorrow will take place on Monday – so lesson 5 of your Maths and lesson 10 of your English will be available on Monday 11th. Hope that makes sense.

    Hello Miss Cooley

I did the daily mile yesterday morning.
I have done my maths it was fun!
I also finished my story in literacy and read it to my family and we made some adjustments.
    Hope youโ€™re okay.
Are you doing anything for VE Day?

    From Jacob

    • tcooley says:

      Dear Jacob,

I went for another 5k run this morning – well done for doing the Daily Mile.

I live in a place called Roe Green Village, which was originally built in 1916 for the workers of the nearby aircraft factories. For VE Day, they have suggested that we all come out at 3pm and have a virtual picnic with our neighbours. We have also been asked to put bunting up outside our front doors, which I have done.

    Yes that does
    Thank you

    Never mind,
    it worked now.

  5. Aidan says:

    Heloo,
Hope that you are okay, well done on the running!
But it didn`t let me play the video you sent Miss Cooley.
I feel that my story is too short and bad. But I need to still to part 3, so hopefully it will be okay.
I am happy because i can type quite fast now and sometimes without looking.
So at least that is something to be happy about.
I created a very long rope with my toy tiger on it to protect the pencil case at the bottom, you can lower it out of our top passage window and lower it down to the steps on the garden and put stuff inside and bring it back up. It`s funny because the start of the rope is a hat that you wear on your head. so you wear the hat and attached onto the hat is the rope with a bag, pencil case and other things I found around the house. It`s weird and silly. I used it by putting me at the top and brother at the bottom. He has to try and catch it while I put it up. It`s funny to make fun out of him.
Sorry that this message is so long.

      Thank you Aidan.

You still have another Literacy Tree session on Monday, but you can always edit your story if you think you can make improvements.

I like the sound of your invention.

Hi Miss Cooley thank you very much for the computer, I hope everybody is doing well and staying safe. Also, do i have to do all of the work i missed online or shall i just start fresh on Monday ?
    Crystal ๐Ÿ™‚

    • tcooley says:

      Dear Crystal,

You are very welcome – so good to see you online.

I would start your learning from Monday – if you want to do any catching up, you can, but you will need to look back through my blogs for the videos etc.

    hello

  9. Ady08 says:

Hi Miss Cooley. We did the video call yesterday. He was waving and nodding his head so we know he can hear us.
He even gave a thumbs up before we left!
My cousin thought that me and my youngest cousin can do a poster of what he likes i.e Liverpool like me, BMW, football, a Liverpool trophy. ALSO TV!

    • Ady08 says:

He stays awake at the majority of the night keeping my Grandma awake.
We are going to do a get well soon video like how we did for my cousin who passed away in ICU 4th Feb 2017.
If you would like to, send a get well soon video on the next blog.
But you have 2 weeks to submit (deadline).
      Adyan

      • tcooley says:

        Dear Adyan,

I will definitely post a get well video for your Dad – I will let you know when it is uploaded.

        Miss Cooley x

    • tcooley says:

I think making a poster of all the things he likes is a great idea.

    Hi Miss Cooley,
Glad to hear that you are well and keeping active! Well done for doing 5k that’s great! I am doing Les Mills combat most days and I have been practicing my pull ups (which I am getting quite good at now) My mum said she will find me a gymnastics class to go to once everything is open again so i’m really looking forward to that!
Today me and Calum have decided to make each other a VE day medal using cardboard.
    See you soon,
    Jimi

    • tcooley says:

      Morning Jimi,

Great that you will join a gymnastics class.

How did your VE Day medal go?

      Miss Cooley x

  11. Ady08 says:

    Miss Cooley, that is fine.
We are doing the video call and I recited Qur’an and he is getting emotional.

  12. grimc says:

Hi Miss Cooley (and class) , i am just writing to say that i am missing the literacy tree sheet. Could you maybe send a link via this blog so i could print it out or is that not possible ?
    Crystal.

    • tcooley says:

      Hi Crystal,

You don’t need a sheet for Literacy Tree – all the work is based on watching a teaching video (uploaded on my blogs) and doing the work from there.

      Hope that makes sense.

      Miss Cooley x
