Hello Miss Cooley,
How are you?
I hope you and your dad are good.
I am just confused that you said that our home learning packs will be coming today, but will your daily blogs say what we need to do next week.
Hope that makes sense
Home learning packs will arrive today but you do not start them until Monday 1st June (next week is a half term holiday). My blogs will restart on Monday 1st June and will be similar to how they are at the moment with extra instructions, video links and web links.
Well done!! You were one of the 1st three to respond (correctly) to my challenge today – I have added you to my score sheet and will reveal the winners of the prizes later on.

Challenge 2:
A lolly would cost 53p.
when did you send this blog to this website? I think that it was slow and would not show me your answers because it was not showing up for me. Just want to make sure that it is not broken or any of the sort.
Hello miss Cooley today I woke at 6:50am to try and be the the first to answer for once and I stayed awake until it was nine I clock and I still couldn’t see the blog. But now I know I’m not going to first for the first time and I got pretty upset.
Today’s challenge – complete Challenge 1 and Challenge 2 and blog your answers to me by 1pm. The first 3 fastest bloggers will be added to my score sheet! Who will be getting a prize this week?

Well done!! You were one of the 1st three to respond (correctly) to my challenge today – I have added you to my score sheet and will reveal the winners of the prizes later on.
Good morning Miss Cooley,
My mum loves your garden! My answers are:
Challenge one:
8 strawberries,and the shape is a rectangle.
Challenge two:
82 p divide by 2= 41 p, then we add 41 p with 12 p = 53 p.
So the lolly cost 53 p.
Thank you Miss Cooley, on saying Eid Mubarak.
It could potentially be Saturday or Sunday. I will let you know!
When you called, I said that the hospital brought my dad outside and we can visit him outside, that was a mistake by the nurses… they said sorry to my dad and he laughed. He is now able to text. ONLY WITH HIS RIGHT HAND! I can’t even use one hand my self. He video called us yesterday by himself on his phone!
It is going to be weird celebrating Eid at home but it is good to protects our loved ones. I can have all the samosasssssssss….just for me, not my brothers hehe. It is also strange because I won’t do my annual Eid football with my family, no one coming over and my dad will not be at home.
Adyan
Hi Miss Cooley hope you are well my answers for the maths are:
Challenge 1: He would have 8 strawberries and the shape could be a square.
Challenge 2: The lollipop would cost 53p
Check your answer for Q2 – if the lolly costs 53p, then the chew will need to be 41p. If you add these two together, the total is 94p but needs to be 82p.
Hello Miss Cooley,
I just remembered that I needed to ask u a question. For the challenge 9 in the maths, I think they made a mistake. If you tried to do that question and get back 2 me that will be amazing.

How are you guys doing.
I’m doing great.
Hope everything is going good.
Today could be the last day of Ramadan.
If it is so usually at Algeria the family slaughters the lamb.
I’ve never seen it happen.
Love Jaber
Dear Jaber,
I am doing well – did you fast for the whole time?
I know Eid will be very different for you this year, but hope you have a lovely time with your family.

My mum loves your garden! My answers are:
Challenge one:

So the lolly cost 53 p.
Morning Karim,
It is a lovely garden but a lot of work for me on my own.
If the lolly costs 53p, then the chew will be 41p. If you add these two together, the total is 94p – the total needs to be 82p.
Miss Cooley x

You are welcome Adyan,
What a shame that you will not be able to visit him after all – I suppose it is better to be safe.
I am very jealous of you having all the samosas!! I love samosas!!
I know it will not be the same for you this year, but hope you still manage to have a nice time with you family at home.
Miss Cooley x
My correct answers are: Lolly=57p and chew= 45p
If you add 57p and 45p, the total is £1.02p – the total needs to be 82p.

Thank you
Just the 1st sheet.
Miss Cooley x
Is it 41 or (is it a trick question:))
Lorenzo
And also I just got my pack but it only says the work finishes at 14:30
Lorenzo
Hi Lorenzo,
If any Year 6 pupils return to school on Wednesday 10th June, their school day will finish at 2.15pm.
Your day may not necessarily finish at 2.30pm, as you may still be working on your topic work.
Miss Cooley x
Definitely not a trick question.
If the lolly is 41p, the chew will need to be 29p. If you add these two together, the total will be 70p.
Miss Cooley x
Hi Miss Cooley, the ink on my pen ,the ones that we use at school, is running out. Can I use a normal biro for my homework instead?
Of course you can Olivia.
