Good morning Year 2! There’s lots of information today so please read this blog post carefully.
IMPORTANT AND EXCITING MESSAGE:
Today a letter will go up on the school website telling you who your teacher will be in Year 3. Please do read it! If you are unable to read the letter on the website, then download the school app (details on the website) and you can read it there, too.
On Monday, you won’t get a blog from me. It will be from your new teacher. I will blog you again on Tuesday. I will put Monday’s Maths video and Literacy skills up today so that you have access to it on Monday.
Thank you to those of you who sent me your report comments yesterday. I haven’t published them on the blog but I can see them, so thank you. If you haven’t done it yet, you must send me your comments today. Use the sentences below to help you.
I have enjoyed Year 2 because…
My favourite part of Year 2 was….
I have got better at…
In Year 3 I want to keep working on… I am looking forward to…
Please do this today and write your sentences in a comment on the blog. I won’t publish it so nobody else will see it. If you don’t do it, I will write on your report that you didn’t give me a comment (and that wouldn’t look very good!).
Today is your last chance to do this as I will be printing the reports next week.

Love from Mrs Legg
Mrs Legg I aim very sad because I will miss you being my teacher
Hi Kaiya. I have loved being your teacher for two years but in September it will be time for someone else to teach you. It might feel sad at first but you’ll get used to it very quickly, I’m sure. You will have a lovely time with Miss Gluyas and I’m looking forward to seeing you around the school to say hello.
Good Morning Mrs Legg what blog is the new year 3 teacher on and I don’t want to go to year 3
Hello Mia. If you go on to the school website or the school app you will find this week’s newsletter – it will tell you that next year your teacher is Miss Gluyas. I know it might feel a little bit scary going into Year 3. It’s completely normal to feel worried about changes when we don’t know everything it will be like. You will have a lovely time with Miss Gluyas and all the children in our class will be going into Year 3 together so you can look after each other. I’ll still be in school too and am really looking forward to seeing you again!
😉
The school Newsletter says your teaching year 6!
Hi Mia. Yes, I am! We can talk more about next year when I ring you. Hopefully I will be able to ring you tomorrow.
