Happy Monday!
Hi Year 3,
How was your weekend? I have been doing lots of fun things with my housemates and I have been doing yoga and exercises everyday. I have been doing 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene, she reminds me of Jo! Try it out for yourselves and let me know what you think! https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%2330daysofyoga
Well done to Lydia, Yahya, Lola and Areej for completing the Busy Things activities over the weekend. I would love to see more of you having a go!
I have chosen grammar, maths and DT activities for you and I’ve given you till Wednesday to complete them. Mr Gonzalo has also given you a Spanish and art activity as it’s Monday and you would have normally been with him.
Love Miss Gluyas

Happy new week guys!!
Hey Guys,
I hope you had a great weekend and used the time to spend quality time with your family and read. It would be nice for you to interact more with me on the blogs so I can know how you guys are doing and what interesting things your doing to keep yourself busy.
Mrs Legg has found this great website where you can do some singing. Check out the ‘Fun Friday’ section – ‘The Bonkers Song’…
Please continue to use busy things if you have finished your home learning pack.
Take Care.
Monday 30th March
Good morning year 5,
I hope this message finds you well after the weekend. I have uploaded some new activities for this morning on ‘Busy Things’, covering area and perimeter, prefix and suffix, mountains of the world and global habitats of the world.
I would like to use this time to commend the children for blogging and completing ‘Busy things activities. It’s lovely to see you keeping busy and saying thoughtful things to myself and the class. Thank you.
Well done to the following children for both blogging and completing activities:
Stephen, Woody, Maya, Ivan, Iqraam, Zishan, Ayame, Kimora, Aisha and Nadia
And well done for the following children for completing some or all of the busy things activities:
Lana, Elsa, Renie, Abyan, Amber, Rebecca, Zahra, Zoe and Aamilah,
Keep up the good work and please do send a message on the class blog (J2ewebby) to the class, if you would like to… It’s always lovely to see your voices.
Keep calm and safe and love to you all.

Week 2
Good morning Year One!
I ‘m just regaining my breath as I finished PE with Joe!
I don’t know about you guys, but that bear crawling exercise was a little bit too much for me. Let me know if you enjoyed it as much as I did!
I hope you have had a nice weekend.
Thank you Cian for writing your first blog. I will reply to you separately. I would like to welcome Calum and Shaya for joining us and submitting their work. Every morning I check what you’ve been doing and it gives me great pleasure to see you are accessing your assignments.
I would also like to mention Leonor, Hana, Jessica, Jacob, Quaratulain, Layla and Jayjay for their engagement with their online tasks, you are fantastic! Just keep up the good work!
I hope you guys are managing to read a lot! Let me know what books you’ve read so far since we began with home learning. Tomorrow I will write to you more about reading and how to access more books online.
Have a great day!
Lots of love
Ms. Boric

Year 2 – Monday 30th March
Good morning Year 2!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I played some games with friends on my computer and read lots of my book. What did you do at the weekend?
I have just put some more activities on busy things for you to try. You should also still be going with your Home Learning packs. How are you getting on with those? Leave a comment to let me know.
WELL DONE
Well done to Geo, Ari, Macie, Eli and Mia for completing your busy things activities on Friday.
TODAY’S BONUS ACTIVITY
Monday is Science day, so I thought you might enjoy looking at this website to help you with your learning about plants.

Day 8
Good morning Year 6.
I hope this blog finds you well, and that you all had a lovely weekend.
I had a bit of a lazy Sunday, which involved reading my book and baking an apple and orange cake. What did you all get up to? What book are you reading at the moment? Remember to be reading for at least 30 minutes per day!
I have uploaded 4 Busy Things assignments for you today:
English – What is punctuation? (1).
Maths – Calculating volume of 3D shapes.
Science – Digestive system.
Geography – Cocoa producing countries.
I know that Kapo does not have the ‘Adverb Arrow’ sheet in her pack – please do not worry if this is missing for all of you. I tried to include a link to the sheet but as it is a PDF, it would not work. I will see if I can post it as a picture tomorrow.
As today would normally be our day for Science, I thought you might like the Science Museum link I found (I know that Karim will definitely enjoy this). Here you can explore the museum’s collection, complete brain-teasing puzzles or learn about science with a range of science games and apps…

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hello Year 6
Hello Year 6!
What a lovely sunny day it is today! How are you all getting on? It was lovely to hear from some of you on my last blog post.
I’m sorry that some of you were missing worksheets the other day- it was a very busy time when I was preparing them! Hopefully you have everything else you need.
If any of you are looking for something extra to keep you occupied, here’s the app I mentioned to you in class when we were talking about learning languages- it’s completely free and you can choose from 35 different languages! (I think Crystal has used it already!)
Its called Duolingo.
You can download it onto phones/ipads.
Just search DUOLINGO in the app store.
You don’t need to set up a profile to use this!
However, if you want to create a profile and save your progress, you will need your parents help- when setting up, after entering your age, it will ask your parents to use their email address. Make sure you get them to do this for you!
Let me know if you give this a go, and if so, what language you choose!
Happy learning!
Laura 🙂
