Happy Tuesday!

Hi Year 3,

I hope everything has been going well for you all! I just went for a lovely walk but now I will stay inside for the rest of the day.

I have just uploaded 3 new assignments for you to do in Busy Things – 1 grammar, 1 maths and 1 science. The science may seem familiar, I think you’ll be great at it!

Please keep checking our Y3 class page on the school website. There are new Spanish activities from Mr Gonzalo on there and a rainbow drawing activity called “Let’s Spread Hope” that lots of children around the UK are doing.

I hope to hear from you today!

Love Miss Gluyas

Hello Year 6!

Hello Year 6!

I hope you and your families are all safe and well. How are you finding home learning? I can see Miss Cooley is giving you lots of interesting things to do.

At the weekend I did some baking, and have also been trying to learn my ukelele… (I’m not very good!)

What interesting things have you been doing to keep yourselves busy?

I’m looking forward to seeing your rainbows.

Missing you all lots.

Laura 🙂

Morning Year 4

Hope you are all doing well,

I have uploaded some assignments for you to do on busy things if you want to keep your self busy as well as your learning pack. This is a great time to read and those of you who have your reading journal please use them. In due time I will try to upload the reading journal activities so you can do them from home while you read. Also, you can access Spanish activities on Thursdays from Mr Gonzalo and Miss Cooley has kindly uploaded some PE workout activities that you can find on our class page.

Take care guys x

Good morning Year 5

Good morning Year 5,

I hope this message finds you well this Tuesday. I have just been checking your busy things work. Well done! Really loving some of your snowflake designs and most of you have completed the grammar work and history timeline which is good to see.

New activities will be uploaded on busy things in 10 minutes… I will leave each activity there for 2 days. If only a few children have completed one of them, I will re-activate it for another two days.

Please make sure you check the class page on the schools website for the link to the morning workout – It’s good to keep your bodies busy, in a controlled way. And remember to be mindful and respectful of other people in your house!

Take care and lots of love

Mr Roman x

Two new things for today 24.3.20

Good morning Year 2!

How are you today?

I have two new things for you this morning.

First, have a look at the Year 2 Class Page on the school website.  There you will find some more Spanish activities from Mr Gonzalo and an art activity that children across the country are doing to cheer people up.  It would be great if you took part, too!

Second, we love singing in school together! One of my favourite song websites has put up some of its songs for you to learn whilst you’re at home.  There is a different song for each day.  Have a look here –

https://www.outoftheark.co.uk/ootam-at-home/?utm_source=homepage&utm_campaign=ootamathome2&utm_medium=banner

Let me know which song is your favourite in the comments.

Please keep sending me messages in the comments.  I love hearing from you every day. 🙂

Have a happy Tuesday everyone.

Love Mrs Legg

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Today is Tuesday the 24th of March.

How are you doing? You may feel anxious or confused these days but remember to have some options available if you need to regulate. Here are some options you can do:

  1. Squeeze something.
  2. Count to 10.
  3. Have a time out to think.
  4. Lay down for a bit.

And remember to have plenty of sleep and eat healthy too! Now is the time to pay attention to our diet and routines. I’m having plenty of fruit (I love oranges :D) and drinking a lot of water, I hope you too!

Again, try to take a look at Busy things and keep yourself busy! There are some activities and games; if you enter in English and then Handwriting, there is a game called alphabet tracing that is really interesting.

Keep safe and be good!

Good morning Year 1 !

And what a sunny morning it is. I hope you are all well, maybe little tired after that exercise routine with Joe Wicks? Check the school website!

There is also Spanish homework that Mr.Gonzalo has set up for you on our website with lots of interesting  tasks, so give it a go!

Has anyone looked at the rainbow challenge: “Let’s spread some hope.”

We will try to download your paintings on our class blog.

Have a lovely day everyone and don’t forget to wash your hands!

Lots of love

Ms. Boric

Day 4

Morning Year 6,

I am hoping that some of you are taking part in the Joe Wicks P.E. workout as I blog.  If you are unsure how to access this, look at our class page for details.

You have 3 assignments on Busy Things today:

English – Proper and common nouns.

Maths – Are these shapes symmetrical?

Spanish (set by Mr Gonzalo) – Drinks (Spanish).

Fancy a virtual tour around the Natural History Museum?  You can explore the diplodocus to the dodo, botany to butterflies, giant crystals to specimens in jars.

Follow this link to take a look inside…

https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/natural-history-museum

If you want to be arty today, why not create a rainbow to put up in your window.  Children across the country are doing this to ‘spread hope’ during this difficult time.  Would be nice if you took pictures of these and I will look into a way that you can share these on our blog.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday.  I am missing all of you loads.

Miss Cooley
