Buenos dias , hoy es Martes y esta lloviendo!!!
Hola chicos y chicas , Que tal? yo tengo frio!!! Hoy hace mal tiempo. Hace frio , esta gris y esta lloviendo. Revise the weather. “Que tiempo hace? hace frio (it is cold), esta lloviendo (it is raining), hace mal tiempo (bad weather), hace sol (it is sunny), hace calor (it is hot).
Activities: Year 1: I want you to read the next paragraph and draw a picture. “Hola me llamo Gonzalo. Tengo 10 anos. Me gusta Azul (I like blue), no me gusta marron (I do not like brown). Yo voy en tren y coche a la ciudad (city). Hoy es Martes 28 de Abril,2020, hace frio , esta lloviendo , hace viento (windy), esta gris (it is gray) y hace mal tiempo”. Read and draw a picture about “Gonzalo”. Extension: write your ow paragraph about yourself. Follow my paragraph as an example. You will need an extra paper to write your sentences, do not forget to write name, class and date in Spanish- Hoy es Martes 28 de Abril 2020.
Year 6: you need to write a forecast for the following cities: Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Quito, Ecuador; Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico; ciudad de Panama,Panama. You need to write full sentences, for example; “Hola Buenos dias , Londres, Inglaterra . Me llamo Gonzalo y estoy muy bien (for each sentence you change the name and the way you feel). Hoy Martes 28 de Abril,2020(for each sentence you need to change the date) hace frio , esta lloviendo, esta nevando , hace viento y hace mal tiempo. Challenge:try to use new vocabulary, you can use “wordreference” dictionary on line. You will need an extra paper to write your sentences, do not forget to write name, class and date in Spanish- Hoy es Martes 28 de Abril 2020.
Adios, nos vemos, MR. Gonzalo

Year 2 Tuesday 28th April
Good morning Year 2!
I hope you enjoyed your learning with your new packs yesterday. Today, I am going to start ringing you all to see how you’re getting on this week. I’ll be working through the class over the next few days so don’t panic if you don’t get a call from me today – I will ring you before the end of the week.
Here are today’s video lessons.
Literacy
I’m glad so many of you enjoyed the lesson yesterday. Here is Session 2. Get your writing book (from your home learning pack) ready, write today’s date, and then press play. The video will tell you what to do.
Maths
How did you find yesterday’s Maths lesson? Did you recognise the learning from what we had already done in school?
Find today’s maths sheet and get ready with a pencil. The video will tell you when to answer the questions on the sheet. To find the video, you need to go to this website:
https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/
When you are there, you need to click on Week 1, Lesson 2 – Recognise a half. It looks like this:
Please ignore the dates on the website as we are not following these.
Everything else you need for today is in your home learning packs.
On the activity grid in the home learning packs (w/b 27th April), I suggested some websites you could use for the activities. I have put links to those websites here as you might find it easier to click than typing in the links. I will re-post these every day so don’t feel you have to click on them all today!
Links to websites suggested in home learning packs:
***Also remember to have a look at the RE Lessons blog one day this week to watch a video from Trevor.
