Friday’s Challenge
Question 2 proved quite tricky for some of you…the way to work this question out is to halve the total (82p) to get 41p but then you also need to halve the difference between the lolly and the chew (12p). If you halve 12p, you get 6p. You then add the 6p to 41p to get 47p. The lolly is 47p, which is 12p more than the chew at 35p. If you add 47p and 35p, the total is 82p.
Well done to Jaber, Anna and Adyan for being the first 3 fastest bloggers (with the correct answers) today.
I have looked at my score sheet and the prize winners for this week are Anna, Kapo, Aidan and Adyan – these 4 children managed to respond more than once.
Prizes will be posted next week and new challenges start on Monday 1st June.
Have a great weekend Year 6 – I am about to do some cleaning now.

Good morning and happy Friday
Today is Friday the 22nd of May, the last day before half term!
Today some of you will receive new home learning packages, but they are not for next Monday. You can start working with them the 1st of June so have a rest until then.
As for today, there are some activities in busy things as always. Because we are almost in half term I think we can have some fun with a couple of songs to move our body and have some fun!
Have a nice half term and I’ll see Edwaldeeh and Joey at the Village in June!
Keep safe and be good.
