Monday 20th April

Good morning year 5!

I hope this message finds you well after your two week holiday and that you have been having nice times with your families. I’m sure you are all feeling a bit bored of this and want everything back to normal… We just need to keep doing what we’re doing, be safe, follow the rules and everything will be back to normal soon enough.

A new lesson starts today, which is on a website called ‘Pobble’… Click on the link below and follow the lesson. There is a short writing activity at the end of the flipchart (page 6). Can you type your activity on to a blog and send it to me so I can check how you are getting on. Thank you. There will be a new pobble exercise each day for this week.

On busy things there are 4 new activities for you… These are:

Maths: Venn sorting diagram for common multiples of 3,4 and 8 and 2,5 and 10.

A Science activity based on parts of the digestive system to link with your pobble activity.

An alphabetising activity based around fruit as an extra.

I will be calling your parents and you, this week, for a conversation between today and Thursday…which I very much look forward to.

Lovely to be messaging you all again.

Love and hugs, Mr Roman.

Hi Mr Roman I have finished my busy things and below is my writing task on healthy food:

Fruits and vegetables are good for you because they are full of nutrients that your body needs. Your daily diet should be full of fruits and vegetables and not many processed food. This will prevent you from becoming obese. You are still allowed to have sweets every now and again, but to many will let your body down.

    Hello Mr Roman
On busy things I accidentally clicked submit when I wanted to click on the button next to it when I didn’t have all the answers ready so there might be an activity where I got a lot of them wrong.
