Good morning Year 2!
It was lovely speaking to so many of you yesterday. I am very proud of how hard you are working at home and, more importantly, that you are being kind and caring to the people you are living with.
Today’s timetable is very similar to yesterday’s. However, some of you told me that you completed all the activities really quickly so today I have included some BONUS CHALLENGE activities. These are optional activities for you to move on to if you have time.

Try to stick to our “All About Food” theme. Remember, you can send photos of things that you do to photos@allsoulsprimary.co.uk I’d love to see them!
Remember to write your “Good Morning Mrs Legg” comment when you have read this so I know that you have seen the activities and are getting on with your learning.

Hi Geo. I’m glad you had a good birthday!
Hello Mrs legg,
I’ve done all the homework including the bonus activities and i got 1 maths question wrong. It was the fraction question. My mum explained it many times. I hope i’ve understood it now. All i need to do now is reading and the creative work. Hope you got my creative picture that my mum emailed in yesterday and the one coming through today.
Ari
Hello Ari. Well done for your learning today. We’re going to be doing some focused learning about fractions next week so hopefully you will understand really well, then. I did see your pictures and I loved them – thank you for sending them!
Welcome to Kaiya’s market stall! If you come to my stall you will find some ripe, yummy fresh fruits, the blueberries are particularly juicy and big. They are also very healthy and give you lots of energy and nutrition!
Great job, Kaiya! You’ve used some lovely adjectives and conjunctions. I can spot the -es suffix in your writing, too.
You made me happy!
