My story is different from “Escape from Pompeii” because in my story they have an underground house that is lava proof that keeps them safe when the volcano erupts.

LO: To plan a story.
Introduction – Who is the main character? Where do they live? What do their parents do (farmer, solider, craftsman, entertainer or fisherman)? Who is their best friend? Where do they live? What is the mountain called that is nearby?
Build-up – What is your character doing when there is an earthquake? What is the earthquake like? What does your character do next?
Climax – What happens when your character goes outside? How do they escape?
Resolution – What does your character do when the volcano erupts?
Ending – What does your character do afterwards? Where do they go? What happens to them?

I learnt all about earth and space, there are nearly 2000 satellites in space. When satellites break down this is known as debris or space junk. I saw other peoples art work, and played some games , colouring and I helped Paxi do some recycling . This website was so much fun and i hope everyone enjoys it as much as i did.

What makes my story different to Escape From Pompeii is that when the earthquake started my character was in the classroom where her mum works in. As soon as the earthquake started my character went to fetch her dad. She went on the boat with her parents and her best friend. After the earthquake my character came back to Dorbeta and rebuilt a house for her parents and friend.

The difference is that when the earthquake when it happened my mum was outside in our big farm and I was playing next to her, she gave me a huge hug and we were looking everywhere where is my father, we find him hiding behind the pots.

Interesting! It should still be a sad ending as they didn’t know the mountain was a volcano.
What’s different about my story is that Floria Luciana and her parents see a photo and remembered poor Pompeii. Hope you like my version! XOXO Amana
